Inside stroke is not working anymore | Affinity 1.8.0.585

Additional information
This is happening when I'm editing a file that has been created with an older Designer version. 
With a completely new file, the inside stroke works as expected.

Steps
1. Create an ellipse
2. Add a stroke
3. Change stroke alignment to inside

Expected result
The stroke is aligned inside

Actual result
The stroke is invisible, nothing is happening
