The New > Templates > Show In Finder button does not seem to do anything in any of my 3 Affinity apps. I expected it to work similarly to File > Reveal in Finder & open the folder I designated for each app's templates in Finder. That File menu item works fine, & the templates folders are in the same user location as my Affinity documents (in subfolders in ~/Pictures/Affinity Work), so I do not think it is a permissions issue.

EDIT: the right-click "Show in Finder" contextual item for templates I have created does work. It is just the large button at the bottom of the Templates window grouped with the "Add Folder" & "Remove Folder" buttons that does not.

Probably unrelated, the right-click "Open Template for Edit" contextual item for templates I have created works, but the preview does not update to show the edits I have made until I quit & relaunch the app.

Same here on Mac OS 10.14.6 and the retail versions 1.8.0.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Good to know it is not just me! 😀

Also, am I crazy or in the betas was there an option to name the folder created via the "Add Folder" button when it was created? As it is now, with the "Show in Finder" button not working, to set a template folder name requires blindly searching for the folder in Finder because I don't know what the default name is or should be.

Huh! I was experimenting in AP, adding a second template folder that I created in AD to the Templates folder list & a third one that I created in APu, each one in the same parent "TEMPLATES" folder & named as below.

With this setup, "Show in Finder" works for the second & third folders, just not for the first one. I then tried the same thing in AD, & it works the same way -- only with the first listed template folder does "Show in Finder" not work.

One additional piece of the puzzle is that because the "Designer TEMPLATES" folder was initially empty, I copied one of the Photo TEMPLATES folder items to it in Finder. AD did not like that at all, crashing immediately when I selected its "Designer TEMPLATES" folder without first quitting & restarting AD. It works OK now after restarting AD, but there does seem to be a few bugs left to work out for the templates feature.
