Kurb Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 So from the new update I noticed while starting drawing that I can’t no longer change the size of my brush by the shortcut sliding pen from left to right, the fact we can now rotating the pen is quite cool tho, but I can’t find any way in the Keybaord shortcuts preferences section to keep a way to still sliding my width. While the affinity photo manual on the internet still shows the old way, I’m still looking for the new way to do so. “[“ and “]” is good for small increasing but not for big ones. Quote
Kurb Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 I find it very weird, it just came back to normal! Now I need to know how I did that! The rotation sliding thing was pretty cool! While searching I discovered I can rotate it at 5` With the left/right arrows, but the sliding was amazing! Quote
Dan C Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Hi Kurb I've tested this on my Mac here and using Control, Option & holding left click I'm able to drag the mouse from left to right to change the size, and up and down to change the hardness. The default shortcuts for rotating brushes are the left and right arrow keys. Do both of these shortcuts now work as expected for you? Many thanks in advance! Kurb 1 Quote
Dazzler Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 @Kurb if you hold Alt + Right Mouse Button (keep them held then just tap the Left Mouse Button) - that's the new behaviour that allows you to switch between different modes - once on the mode you want keep left mouse button down and drag up/down or left to right to alter the two parameters. Pretty sure that's what you've accidentally discovered! Kurb and Dan C 1 1 Quote
