TTW Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 I have a problem with the master page. Could you please advise? Problem: -When I resize the text frame on the master page. The newly updated text frame was created but the old text frame still does not change. That means there are 2 text frames after updated. From the image, -The left is the updated text frame on the master page. -The right is the children page, there is 2 text frame for both of the old and the updated. Quote

The only way I can this to happen (and I have done it several times, and will continue to do it more than likely) is to apply the master page twice to one "child" page. I am assuming you resized the frame by using the right click on the Layers Panel and chose Edit Detached from the context menu? If not then a screen shot of the offending page's Layers Panel would be useful. I resize by clicking on the frame or use Studio/Transform. Quote

Can you go to that document page, display the Layers panel, expand the Master Page layer, and give us a screenshot? Also, when you hover the mouse over the incorrect text frame in that Master Page layer, what tooltip appears? (And can you give a screenshot of that?)
