Hey!

So for some reason both my Designer and Photo show whites as yellows. I cannot fix this and I definitely know it isn't a problem with my monitor since I can clearly see the photos I edit as normal before importing them into Photo. Also, in Designer, the empty background is white, but the white brush is not. Please help.

Thanks!

Hi MvmL and Welcome to the Forums,

Please see this post and it should resolve the issue :)

Wouldn't this mean that I'd see everything as yellow? Outside of Affinity and inside. I showed in the pictures how the blank background is white in designer, but the white brush isn't white until I export it.

EDIT: Yeah, got it working. Thanks. Still a bit confused why it worked though. I'm a bit sad that I have to have

Have you read the referenced posts? It is obvious that only the canvas is drawn using the selected ICC profiles, not the UI that is directed by the OS.

The post said to change the color profile from the OS. Which I did. It took a few restarts but it works now.

Mainly it is fixed :-)

Try read this: https://affinityspotlight.com/article/display-colour-management-in-the-affinity-apps/

Here, in my opinion, the behavior of the application is inconsistent - both objects should be rendered identically. Maybe it is because it is the background (white paper), but I still expect the same color. Perhaps Serif will explain - thank you.
