Hello,

does the focus merge function also provide for automatic noise reduction or should the stacking command be used to reduce noise?

Hi Tony77

By default, focus merging does not apply automatic noise reduction. You can either apply this separately using an adjustment after the focus merge, or alternatively use another method such as stacking - however stacking will not merge the focal point of your images, so it depends on the desired result you're looking for!
