Keyboard shortcut issue

Affinity photo v.1.7.3 keyboard shortcuts stops working after language switch (to Russian). After changing the language back to english the shortcuts begin to work again. I use native apple software keyboard. And a bluetooth mac-style hardware keyboard.

Hey Kazaks,

I can't reproduce this, at all. I switch to Russian, copy a shape with the cmd+c shortcut on the official iPad keyboard and cmd+v to paste and it works. Are you changing the app to Russian or the iPad?

Hello, Chris, thank you for getting in touch. Shortcuts that include cmd or ctrl keys work fine, but shortcuts that use only one letter (like B for brush) doesn’t seem to work.

Strange—this is working for me. You're definitely changing the in-app language to Russian and not the OS language?

I guess I didn’t make myself clear on this one. After switching the IpadOS language with ctrl+space, shortcuts (like b for brush or f for text tool) stops working.

I see what you mean—sorry I should have asked this at the start.

I just checked with the developers and we would have expected this to be working but I can confirm it does not. The native shortcuts work as you said. I will get this logged—thank you
