Sven Hebinck Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Hi, I have been trying to shade in affinity photo with an airbrush, but unfortunately when I brush over the same place lightly a few times the quality looks really bad. It’s not a smooth airbrush look. As you can see in the image. I painted with black and had opacity, flow and accumulation on the general tab in brush settings at 100%. Then in the dynamics panel, flow jitter at 100% with pressure enabled, and accumulation jitter at 30% with pressure enabled also. I’m trying to achieve what in adobe Photoshop would be an airbrush with pressure opacity. I can’t seem to get the same effect, with reduced quality. In Photoshop the weird thing is, is that when you set the opacity jitter in the brush settings to enable pressure, it already works how i would like it with the jitters slider being at 0%, which in affinity photo doesn’t happen. Although when you set accumulation jitter to 100% in affinity photo it’s the same as photoshop opacity jitter slider to 100%. How can I get it to work like photoshop (slider to 0%) with good quality. I hope I explained myself well... Thank you very much! iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen. iPadOS 13.3. Quote
Staff Gabe Posted January 16, 2020 Staff Posted January 16, 2020 Hi @Sven Hebinck, We don't currently have Opacity mapped to pressure. Try these settings. Quote
Sven Hebinck Posted January 16, 2020 Author Posted January 16, 2020 I’ve tried it and I don’t like the look because the quality is not good. I hope this feature comes soon. Thank you very much!! Quote
