Roberto1972 Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Hi, After finishing a document, set to 'facing pages' I exported it to pdf. The resulting pdf file shows 2 facing pages on a single page. The first (right side of facing pages) page is exported full size, though. The number of pages in the pdf is nearly half of the number of pages in Affinity Publisher. According to the rulers in Affinity Publisher the facing pages are correctly sized: one of the facing pages has the size of a whole page. Can this behavior be changed to facing pages each having the size of a full page? Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 @Roberto1972: Perhaps you want to export using the Range Area option of All Pages? Roberto1972 Posted December 14, 2019 Author Posted December 14, 2019 The whole document was exported; it's just that each pdf page contains two Publisher pages. Only the title page (has no facing page) is full-size. At least when I open the pdf in Sumatra pdf or in Vivaldi web browser. Workaround: turning 'facing pages' off Publisher rearranges everything to single pages while maintaining the correct 'facing pages' master pages layout. Exporting to pdf from here produces a correct pdf file but the original file contains single pages. Works but the rearrangement of the original file is not desired. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 Sorry, @Roberto1972, I used the wrong term. I am suggesting you change the Export dialog settings from: to which should resolve your issue. Roberto1972 Posted December 14, 2019 Author Posted December 14, 2019 Hi Walt, Yes, that did the trick; thanks! No idea if you use Filter Forge but here's the document I just finished and had trouble with exporting correctly: Filter management options for Filter Forge 9. Perhaps it is of any interest Roberto Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 I don't use that program, but I'm glad you got it exported properly Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
