I am trying to move my AP photos from my iPad Pro to a San Disk iXpand Drive to free up storage space, but am having difficulty.  I have opened my photo, selected EXPORT, then SHARE,  then opening up the iXpand Drive to save photo. My first three photos saved without a problem, but further attempts to save photos failed. Most of the photos are RAW saved as TIFF files. I tried switching to JPEG, but still no luck. Not sure why my first three photos saved successfully and then it stopped.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, has anyone used any flash drive or external storage that has worked well in transferring AP photos to them? If so, could you recommend them? Thanks for the help

Hi Patrick David,

Welcome to the forums :)

If possible could you provide a screen recording demonstrating this issue?

Thanks

@Patrickdavid I just tested this with 10  .cr2 raw files. Transfer went perfectly and quick too.

Process:

insert the iXpand drive.

Open Files app and navigate to folder with image files. Open folder, tap select all and tap Share icon.

Select iXpand from share options.

Select a folder/location on iXpand drive And tap Save Here.

I am having the same problem in exporting edited raw files from AP to my iXpand drive. It was working, but now it won't.  Is there anywhere I can turn to get help in resolving this problem? I need to free up space on my iPad. Thank you.
