can't remove guidelines from my art

Recommended Posts

I did search but got nothing. It's my first time using AF Publisher & I am unable to see how you remove the guidelines from your final art. I am at a loss to know what to do. I've watched the tutorial about  making PDF wrap covers about a hundred times & still can't see what's being done at this step in the process. These are the guidelines that remain after you build the book cover using the KDP Cover Creator template.  The guidelines now won't go away so I can export the cover as a PDF file that can be printable by KDP.

Help.  Seems like there must be some simple key you hit to remove guidelines but what is it?  Thanks.

Your final art will be Exported to some format like PDF (or possibly JPG, PNG, etc.) or printed. The guidelines will automatically be removed during that process.

But if you want to hide them temporarily earlier, try the View menu, and uncheck Show Guides, or View > Preview Mode. Or View > Guides Manager... and click "Remove All Guides" to remove them permanently.
