lalbagh Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 I cannot download the resources for the project mamtorDE (and the following). Typing the webaddress on page 142 results in a message 404 page could not be found. Quote
Dan C Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Hi lalbagh, Welcome to the forums Please see the following FAQ topic which covers this question - I hope this helps! Quote
lalbagh Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 I know what a zip-file is, but my problem is that I cannot download the file, as the link mentioned in the workbook leads to the message 404. Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 9, 2019 Staff Posted December 9, 2019 Hi lalbagh, Welcome to the Affinity Forums The link for the files (all of them) used on that chapter is located on page 140 (not 142) under the Resources section. The pink link(s) located on page 142 and all other pages of that and other chapters refer to the files used for that part of the tutorial specifically. The files required for each chapter are all contained within the zip/link disclosed on the beginning of each chapter. You can find all links for the respective chapter's zips on pages: 86, 140, 156, 174, 188, 200, 226, 248, 266, 290, 314, 340, 366, 388, 406, 424, 448. lalbagh Posted December 9, 2019 Author Posted December 9, 2019 Hi MEB, The link to the resources section is on page 142 (see photo in the annex). On page 140 there is just the photo of peak country and some introductory text. But now, as I tried the link again, it worked and I was able to download the zip-file. Miraculosely. Thanks and sorry for disturbing. Quote
Staff MEB Posted December 9, 2019 Staff Posted December 9, 2019 Ah, sorry . The page references i gave you were for the English version of the book. Anyway glad to know you were able to download the files. Maybe you have entered the link incorrectly the first time like adding a ".com" after "affin" instead of ".co" or something - i know i have done it myself a few times by mistake!
