Cathie
A task I do often on PS is to combine information from one form onto another form. In PS this is a snap; use the marquee tool, copy the piece from form a and paste it into form b. I have spent 3 hours trying various ways to do this on Photo with no success. Regardless of what is selected with Photo, when I copy I get the entire form. I'm sure the answer is easy but I need help.
v_kyr
It is, you are working with an embedded (image) layer probably via a placed image. Select it's layer, right click and rasterize it, so it tells (pixel) layer afterwards. Now repeat your copy/paste tryouts.
