Molekule
Will hardware acceleration be available for Windows machines with the dedicated graphics cards?
Staff Dan C Posted December 4, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 4, 2019 Hi Molekule! Currently we don't offer this, but our developers are working hard to bring Hardware Acceleration to Windows Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. friedgoldmole
I thought this was mentioned as coming soon back in June when 1.7 came out. Is there any sort of ETA for this, or is Windows taking a back seat versus the Mac version?
Staff Dan C Posted December 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted December 9, 2019 Unfortunately we have no ETA for this currently, but we're still hard at work! Due to the number of variables for Windows machines compared to Macs this can take much longer to develop - we certainly haven't put Windows in a 'back seat'. I hope this helps Mft 1 Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Molekule
That is definitely where having a closed ecosystem such as Apple Pay’s off for software developers.
