We need the Info panel in the iPad version.

Thanks Walt, not familiar with that panel, I will check it out on the desktop when I can get off the couch ! Too relaxed here!

Ok, I had a play and the info panel gives you the colour values ? The same information is available on iPad using the colour dropper tool I don’t know if that helps?

It lets you set multiple samplers, and it lets you see the values in RGB and/or CMYK at the same time, and some other functions. It's not clear which are important to the OP's workflow, though.
