"File->Batch" crashes Affinity Photo… and i lost my batch jobs

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I cannot open the Batch processing window (Affinity crashes when i click "File->Batch"), plus my previously used batch jobs are no longer in the library.
I really depend on these batch jobs, how can i get them back?

Thanks.

AFAIK there is no persistence memory for batch jobs, you can't store/retrieve previous batch jobs settings.

☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan
☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

Hi floflo,

As @v_kyr has pointed out, Affinity doesn't store the previous batch jobs.  It would store and make available any Macros you've record and saved via the Batch Dialog.  As for the crashing, that is unexpected behaviour, just so i'm clear, can you provide a screen recording of the crash as i've not been able to replicate it by going to File>New Batch, so would be interesting to see the crash in action.
