When I try to focus merge files (.DNG) that have  attached the XMP file made by Photo, AP crashes. If the .xmp files are removed the merge functions OK.

I posted about this before and now I know what happened.

I uploaded four files: two .AP with their two.xmp.

Let me know please if you got them because it took so little time to upload that I fear something went wrong.

HI MEB

I also uploaded (let me know if you got them please) three files that crash AP when focus merging even without the .xmp filers attached. The files are ...249-50-51.

Hi srg,
All files received (2 DNG+XMP, plus 3 additional DNG's). Thanks.

Please, can you tell me what happened to those files? did you replicate the problem?

Hi srg,
I didn't forgot about this. I haven't been working regularly lately due to some health problems and I'm still catching up/checking some of the reported issues. My apologies for the delays.
I'm trying to reproduce your issue here and will get back to you in a moment.

Hi srg,
I'm having trouble reproducing the crash here (the merge worked fine on two systems for both sets). Do you mind attaching your crash report please? Are you able to reproduce the crash consistently (after closing Affinity Photo)?

It was consistently crashing in those circumstances even after rebooting the mac. Now (after a few days without trying) even with the files I sent you it does not crash and proceeds well. I do not know what to say. No crash report came up.
