rodh
Hi All, I wold like to be able to use variable text fields to customise text blocks with names and personalised messages. Can I do this in Publisher please?
walt.farrell
It sounds like you're looking for a function often called "mail merge" or "data merge". That has been requested for the Affinity applications, but is not available and we do not know when or if it might be added. v_kyr
With Publisher you would have actually to use workarounds, like for example export as editable SVG and change the text of names and messages in that, then re-import the made SVG text changes. The whole SVG processing could be automated via appropriate scripting then. rodh
Thanks for these replies, and what I need is the first one, a feature like I used to have when I had InDesign. I much prefer Publisher now to Adobe products but a few little features required to make it glow, like the Mail Merge feature.
