JT1044
I have seen a bunch of answers for how "Excel" works to do this, but when I'm trying to copy from Google Sheets (Or a google doc table) and paste to a Table Ive created in publisher, it still only pastes into the top left most cell I selected. I have selected multiple cells to paste into, from 2 to the exact grid I need. It always pastes everything to the single cell. Is there a fix for this that doesn't involve using excel? I have also now tried excel online, which also failed. I also tried making a simple tab spaced table. Staff Lee D Posted November 6, 2019 Staff Share Posted November 6, 2019 @JT1044 This will be due to difference in the table formatting between Google Docs/Sheets and the tables in Publisher.
JT1044
I have now discovered that you can download a google sheet as a TSV file. Then open that in wordpad, and it pastes perfectly. Someone told me that you can 'select all' in google sheet, then select all in your Affinity table (the correct number for your input) and it will work. But I havent had a chance to try it yet.
