Text Style Breaks

Is it possible to apply an automatic column break to a text style, so that each heading starts on a new column or frame? I want to avaid adding manual column breaks due the the number of sections

I don't know if this helps you much with your problem. Have a look at Flow Options of Text Styles where you can define where the paragraph has to start.
