Vector Brushes query

In Affinity Designer how do i use the brushes to get a tail on my lines?

I want Brush 64 (Image a) to have a tail like its image in the brushes folder tab

But when i draw a line i just get a straight 'ish line (image b) with no tail!

hI Gigatronix Pete,

You need to have pressure applied to your brush, are you using a drawing tablet or just your mouse?

Hello @Callum  ...just a nudge in case you never saw my reply, i use a mouse but can't seem to make the pressure work!

Sorry! You can simulate pressure with a mouse using the Stroke Panel and then setting the controller to pressure see my attached recording demonstrating how to do this.
