Jeeves
Hi, I'm that new (and inept) that I have only just realised I am losing parts of my publishing document because I've been deleting files from my mac which were linked and not embedded. I didn't even know these options existed - I had just assumed everything I used within publisher would stay there ... anyway ... I now understand the features and benefits of linking vs embedding but, for the purposes of the current project, is there a way to (a) find out which files are linked (I can only find the embedded list in resource manager), and then (b) change the linked files to embedded files? Thanks!

If the list shows only embedded resources then there are no linked files. If a file is linked in AfPub and its resource is missing by Resource Manager then it is still existing and visible in both manager and your layout but on page likely with lower resolution. In what way did you see "losing parts"? Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
