  1. Hi, It seems Publisher does not allow me to put the line spacing to minus? It seems it always MUST be adjusted not lower than 100%? PLEASE TELL ME I AM WRONG! Please tell me I am just missing a tiny thing somewhere. Super annoyed, bartl
  2. Hello, while working with Affinity Publisher (version 1.8.3.641) I came across a strange thing, maybe a bigger bug? Magazine insert, column set, bodycopy text and teaser texts: The line spacing of some texts cannot be edited (anymore). A text style was created for each of these texts. But, no matter if the line spacing is changed in the text style or in the paragraph panel, and no matter what is set there, the line spacing does not change anymore. To find out when exactly this happens, I will now create the corresponding pages again, step by step. I'm very interested to know if anyone besides me has noticed this before? Thanks! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  3. Leading (in paragraph settings) should default to 120% rather than 103% - like in other design software. Apart from 120% being the standard in other software like Adobe CS. 120% leading is known to be best practice in graphics design in general. It's just a better starting point that does not even have to be changed in most cases. Moreover a leading value of 120% has even been the default in the successors of Affinity products. If you don't want to change the default of 103%, please make the default leading value configurable in the settings dialog!
  5. I am using Affinity Designer 1.5.5 for Mac. The paragraph leading seems to have doubled. At 16pt/16pt, it appears to come out as 16pt/32pt. This is consistent at other sizes, such as 10pt/10pt (looks like 10pt/20pt), etc. The only way to achieve true 16pt/16pt is if I change it to 16pt/8pt. I tried other typefaces and still got the same result. This seems to be a bug and not sure if this is affecting other users. Thank you. Edit: Nevermind, I found out that "Space after Paragraph" had a value that threw it off.
  6. Hi, when pasting text copied from a txt or other sources in a text frame it simply doesn't work. If i use the artistic text tool (T) and paste a text directly it works, but the text needs to be wrapped manually adding paragraph. Sounds strange :-( Thanks A
  7. I have some multi-line text that has vertical line-spacing that is too much. How do I change line spacing?
