  1. Some Affinity Designer v.1.10.5 based Easter Stuff vector assets. - Note: the assets are compound of unlocked, grouped vectors, thus when moving, resizing etc. inside docs, make sure to always select the outer group layer. The assets file: easter-stuff.afassets You will find a bunch of other Affinity related things under some of my other resources contributions, see therefor: Retrospective of resources contributions Have a nice and peaceful Easter time!
  2. I nearly forgot to post this, as everyone seemed to be starting Easter early on Good Friday. Based on the Tin Chooky that stands in our hearth, here's this year's Easter greeting card. Made mainly from primitives in Designer, with a little bit of Photo. No birds were harmed in the making of this image. Nor chocolate!
  3. In Illustrator we need to use envelope distort to make an egg shape with a circle. What about Affinity Designer?
  4. 689 A quick doodle as I learn Affinity Designer! Loooving it!
  5. Thanks to a request called How to make egg shapes by ameleen07 and a nifty solution by MattP... https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/5519-how-to-make-egg-shapes/ I got I little carried away. Hope you enjoy them, these are some of my favourites. They really look good in a slightly different context. Peter.
  6. Meet Blue Bunny, he's a happy little fellow... :) Continuing the Bunny series from some client concept sketches that never got beyond the proof phase. Thought I'd try something different on this one and play with some pixel painting texturing and also attempt at adding fur to this little guy. The fur is made up of repeating individual groups of "fur shapes" copying, rotating, skewing, repeat... each with transparent gradients and blur to add softness and hide some of the edges and yes it was a lot of work... ;) Really loving the ease of vector and pixel workflow!
