Hi, Export. I miss: Opportunities to export all sides but as separate files. Options for Field Area: 1. Export selected pages (pallet layers) 2. File resolution in ppi without defining size. 3. Note, currently the Presets option does not show my defined "Presets"? Why? Best Regards!

Hey everyone. I need to know if there is a way to establish a page order when we export multiple artboards to a PDF. Currently, even though I set up my artboards in order, once they were exported, they actually came out in the reverse. So instead of 1 to 14, it came out 14 to 1 in page order. How can I reverse this? Is there some way to also set the order on export and is there a certain way we must lay out our multiple documents in order to get the pages right all the time? Thanks. -
I saw that being able to create pages is listed in the request features list, just would like to point that for this to work will also be needed to have master pages and columns and FIELDS management, for some reason indesign, as pagemaker did, only have a good columns management but for a good rich publication will be good to be able to create the entire cross and the in between fields. Just a thought :)

I am aged 78 and have been teaching seniors how to use PC computers since 1999, the aim being to show them how to impress their friends, relatives and neighbours. One program stood out - Serif PagePlus - fantastic, and I regretted there was nothing like it for Macs. Now Serif has produced Affinity Designer, and I am giving it a trial. However, in producing a newsletter for my students, and others, to show what it can do, I am bemused [?] that I can find no templates [they would use calendars, visiting cards, greetings cards .....], no graphics [PagePlus has a fantastic collection] and no ability to prepare a document with more than one page. I am not computer illiterate, but I am getting on in years - am I missing something? Or if I am not missing anything, is there any chance of these features appearing in the near future? I do have several Mac DTPs which do all of these things, but Affinity Designer almost leaves them all for dead - almost. -
I opened a PDF file on Affinity Photo Beta in order to edit it. It has 12 pages, each one represented by an artboard. I need two more pages, though, which is an issue I can't apparently solve creating a new artboard. Is there a way to add a new page to this PDF?

Hi! I would like to ask for having some features similar to Freehand, with wich I used to create everything: logos, baners... and also LAYOUTS. I made even a newspaper :) I know it´s not between the core skills Freehand was designed for, but I was thankful because of its possibilities. It is the only thing I miss: A MULTIPAGE BOARD. Right now, you can create ONLY one page per document. I wonder if it will be possible to create several pages in the same document. -

HI Everyone, I really don't know if there's something I'm doing wrongly or something funny is happening to my version of designer. I have 1.2. I open AD, create a new page (A4) with Print or Print Ready selected. Without adding anything to the page just yet, I check my doc details and its auto changed to photo. I'm trying to work on an A4 document, what might the problem be please. anyone?

Badass Designer roadmap. Please at least review how Fireworks implements shared layers across states (which I have been misusing as pages for years). It's the most powerful implementation of a layer - sublayer - "page/mock" relationship I've seen; suppose you need a main menu across 10 pages/mocks, but you have a 20-page doc. You simply “share layer to states”, then hide it from those pages you don't want it on. All updates to that layer appear on all states (again, as pages) without absurd asset duplication cause by art boards. If you need unique menus, you can simply hide that layer and make another, or unshare the layer and decide which pages get that content. It works like a symbol but with the advantage of edit in place and locking certain sublayers if needed.

Hi, I am thinking of downloading AD as I believe it will give us everything we require for a new business venture - the way Photoshop and Illustrator has gone subscription based really doesn't help small start up business. A quick question anyway - can you embed fonts before creating a PDF for export? I have searched and I believe AD doesn't support this feature at the moment but I hope to be proven wrong! If you aren't able to do this in AD, can you export as PDF and open in Pages on the same computer and embed fonts there before sending to an external print company? Thanks. -
Hi, my name Tenli from Indonesia, and very excitement with affinity designer so I could forget ai. But, after updated my OSX into Yosemite something not right with my workflow. At previous OSX I could copy and paste from affinity to keynote/pages, but now it can't, so I have to export them into png then place it to keynote/pages or export them into svg open ai then place it to keynote/pages. This step makes me crazy... Is there any a good way so I just opening affinity, and keynote/pages without ai or else? Or it would fixed in the next update? Thank you Keep Rocks Affinity -
I'm using Affinity to create a magazine for my dissertation and I wondered how I would be able to create a double page spread instead of having to design on two separate pages. I find the programme much easier to use than InDesign and since I've been using it from July, I now don't use any other programme to create content. Additionally I want to know if there is a way to import the pages into InDesign as I will have to put them into one document just so that it can be printed next May.
