This takes forever when I select all geometry and click the Add in AD; so I copy-paste this in Illustrator and no problem when I unite this in pathfinder. n.afdesign
triotxxl posted a topic in V1 Bugs found on Windowsjust look at this picutures and then try it on your on with my testfile. On my Pc its not possible to sum this objects into one object. It seems that Affinity Designer is caught in a loop or sth like that and the Designer in the Taskmanager gets bigger and bigger until 10 gb. testfile.afdesign

Boolean Operation causes Freezing?
Boldlinedesign posted a topic in V1 Bugs found on macOSAlmost every time I run a boolean operation to divide or unite vector curves in AD, it freezes on me as shown in attached image. I have to force quit and restart the app and try again in smaller doses or move it to Illustrator and try again there. I have an iMac with 12GB of RAM - I don't know if the issue is I need more RAM, or if it's still a bug Affinity is fixing? I ordered more RAM recently, so I'll be able to try it again after installing it to see - but I wanted to see if anyone had any info pertaining to this issue - thanks!
Add and Combine cause Designer to hang
big smile posted a topic in V1 Bugs found on macOSAttached is a very simple file that has two curve layers. problem.afdesign I would like to use either Add or Combine to merge the two curves into one. Each time, I do this Affinity hangs on the operation. I've tried experimenting on other simple shapes. With some shapes, it will work fine. With others, it will hang just like this one.
Adding These Shapes Froze the Program
gmx6 posted a topic in V1 Bugs found on WindowsSo I was working on some game assets when all of a sudden when I tried adding(using the boolean operations) the selected shapes on this picture, the program just kept on loading the results and never stopped. I had to task manager end the app. I tried doing the same thing, but it just didn't happen again. I did pause for a few seconds bu twas done almost right away. Thought I'd share this.
Select all except the cyan circles and Divide - from the result select the biggest parts left and right and delete - select everything except the cyan circles and call Boolean add = crash. macOS held hostage try to force quit AD if you can. Heartcore.afdesign
