  1. I purchased the software only 1 day ago and I've already had several crashes in the middle of doing an edit. The program seems to lag, says "Not Responding" at the top of the window, then crashes. I lose all of the work I have done to the photo. Also, in the develop mode adjusting the sliders or number values in "white balance" does nothing to the image. Not a good first impression so far and glad I decided against buying Designer and Publisher until I became more familiar with the products. Hoping this if fixed soon. Window 10 (all current updates installed), I7 8550U, 16 GB.
  2. macOS Ventura v.13.2 Hardware acceleration ON Problem description: Develop Persona/Basic/White Balance settings do not apply to the image once the presets are loaded. The presets take effect, but when you click on one of the White Balance settings bars with the mouse. Problem do not appear in Affinity Photo V1
  3. When develop an RAW and I create a new Preset two important parameters have problems 1) White balance slider positions are stored but when using the preset for a new imge I have to click on an slider to activate the changes 2) Sharpen function (details) is not stored in the preset (not activated an no slider stored (radius and so on). Perhaps I made an incorrect operation but most of parameters are stored and are functioning. (Sorry for the bad english, I'm German)
  4. White Balance recall broken: When loading a preset that has a specific white balance, the white balance UI shows the recalled settings, but the actual white balance value is set to whatever the previous white balance was manually set to. The only thing fully accurately recalled is whether White Balance is on or off. So if a preset is recalled that has a white balance set, the UI shows the saved white balance, but the actual white balance value is still what the last specifically set value was. If you click the up or down arrow on the white balance number, you will see the slider and the number jump to the actual white balance being used. Example: Load RAW image Set white balance to 2400K Load a preset with a white balance set to 4500K White Balance check box will be set, number and slider will read 4500K, but White balance will be set to 2400K, the last manually set value. Typing a value in the white balance number field is ignored Click the up or down arrow next to the number, and it will jump to the actual value of 2400K (plus or minus the arrow you clicked) Affinity Photo V2.0.3 MacOS 12.6.2
  5. White Balance did not applied correctly when multiple RAW files opened in develop module using preset, I need to manually adjust the Temperature again to get the result.
  6. I was thrilled to read "* Absolute (Kelvin) white balance can be stored in develop presets." Sadly this is not the case. I opened a CR2 (Canon) file made a pair of white balance Presets and they can be applied to CR2 files but not to .afphoto files opened and processed in the Develop Persona. Plus the presets made in a Develop Persona cannot be used on a CR2 file opened and processed in the Develop Persona. There is more to this and I will investigate and report back.
  7. I made a series of tests with the different Studios in the Develop Persona. I would turn off all the adjustments then turn one on and make a preset then recall it later. All passed with the exceptions of White Balance and Profiles in the Basic Studio. It appears as though Photo is not saving any of the information regarding the White Balance after being shut down. I made a series of tests regarding the other Presets in Develop persona and they are being saved and applied correctly. They also show up and work after re-entering the Develop Persona.
  8. With the last couple of betas the White Balance hasn't been working properly in a preset. Make a preset with a different value for the White Balance save this to a preset. open a new raw file and apply the preset, the white balance will not be applied unless the check box is ticked manually, for the other adjustments this will occur as soon as the preset is chosen. Then the change will be applied but the values won't display the change. What is worse is that the change will not be applied at all to any non-raw file. This could be because opening a TIFF in the develop persona and I have % change for both Temperature and Tint values instead of the degrees for Temperature and % for Tint.
  9. Open an image. Make adjustments in Basic including WB. In this instance change to 5500K. Create preset named "test". Close AP. Open with a Raw image. The default WB is 4635K. Select the preset "test". The WB does not change from default. The screen shot shows the settings as I saved them on the left then, on the right, opening again and selecting the preset. Notice the WB does not open or change temp if you do open it. Is this a known bug or normal behavior? AP 166. OS 10.12.6 Thanks.
