  1. @Hangman I've attached the file. The reason I think it might be related to DPI is that I originally created the calendar to be poster size. When I realized that I might be printing this multiple times, as I added information, I realized there was no way I was going to be printing the drafts out as posters. I ended up copying the calendar over into smaller versions, first 11"x17", and then, ultimately as legal size (8.5"x14"). Each time I decided to use a smaller format, I copied the content over into a new file. Thinking back on it, I'm pretty sure I used the "scale" drag to get the content to fit. Although I'm not 100% sure, I think I started adding endnotes in the 11"x17" version, so those would have been scaled when I went to the legal size document. That's ultimately why I think this all may have been similar to the DPI bug that was resolved previously. Thanks for taking a look! 2024 Election Year calendar (legal size).afpub
  2. No worries, @GarryP. I just thought they wanted us to post something if we came across the issue again (after they thought it was fixed).
  3. @Affinity Info Bot I'm still experiencing this issue in 2.5.5. It's happening when I'm extending a Notes (endnotes) frame onto the next page. I haven't been able to definitively say it's related to the DPI because I've potentially seen some progress when I play with that (i.e., changing document DPI), but I'm in the middle of a crunch, so I'm not able to drill down to say definitively that is the cause. But the issue is alive and well.
  4. Well if any developers out there come across this post, even if it is not something that you can fix, and it has to be fixed on Apple's end, I would be very appreciative if an option could be added to at least let us choose a time zone so the time offset can be correct.
  5. Is there a way to at least select the time zone we're in until there is a fix that correctly syncs the date and time in Affinity Publisher with the Mac system?
  6. Yes, sorry, I meant to say endnotes. They were set to be positioned at the End of Book. Ah, I found that option — it was not selected. Thank you!
  7. I'm using Affinity Publisher v. 2.5.5 on macOS 15.0. I've been working on a calendar of events. The day these events fall on is prescribed by statutory law, so I've been including footnotes so I have that information. I kept trying to export a PDF, but the document never included links to the references. I confirmed the "Generate hyperlinks" was toggled on in the Notes panel, and that the export settings would include hyperlinks. I tried exporting it as a PDF with no preset, and then with the "PDF - high quality" preset, but nothing. After scrolling past the first page — I had just been opening the document and checking to see if those first endnote links would work — I scrolled all the way to the end. I realized that the "Notes" page was not included (I set it up to be its own page at the end). All five of the calendar pages were exporting, but the last one was not. So I went into the export window again, and instead of selecting "All Pages" as what I wanted to be exported — which is what I had been doing every time — I manually entered "1 - 6" in the pages field. This one change appears to have forced Publisher to include the "Notes" page at the end, which then made all of the endnote links operational (previously, my cursor never changed — indicating that there was no link present). Tl;dr: I figured it out, but it seems like a bug that can be fixed.
  8. I'm not sure if I'm searching for the incorrect name for the feature I'm looking for, and that's why I can't find it, or maybe it doesn't exist. In Adobe Acrobat Pro, under the accessibility options, there is the option to change the "reading order" of text on the page. This is generally to aid people with screen readers to comprehend documents more clearly. That is one of the reasons I'm looking for that feature, but the other is that footnote numbers get wonky based on how Publisher is interpreting the order of things in the document. For example, I'm making a calendar and I'm using footnotes to include citations to different events that happen during an election. As you can see in the screenshot, Publisher appears to be reading the "reading order" of things as up-down, before it goes left-right. Obviously, the way to read a calendar is to read left to right, and then read a line below (but that's not what Publisher is doing). Is there a feature that will allow me to fix that, or am I stuck with things the way they are? Edit: Apologies, it looks like my post is effectively a duplicate of this post.
  9. @Hangman Thank you! (Apologies! I did see that post, but I wasn't sure if I should create a new report since I was using a different operating system and a different version of Publisher.)
  10. Current system: macOS 15.0 I looked through the forums, and it looks like this problem has cropped up before, but Publisher is setting the "current time" to GMT rather than the local settings on my computer (which are set to Eastern U.S.). I've tried switching hardware acceleration off and on, and in both cases, it doesn't resolve the issue.
  11. Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I can't seem to figure it out.
  12. @Joachim_L After some fiddling, I ended up going to the Text Styles route — thanks!
  13. Is there not a way to select multiple text boxes by groups? I'm working on a map with 100+ counties, and so I alphabetized them and grouped them by letter. Now, I'm trying to select all of the groups to change the font size, but then the changes to the text toolbar do not apply. Is there not a better work around than selecting each text box (after expanding all of the groups on the Layers tab)?
