JuBe Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 I think the table of variables for customizing fields having to do with dates has a typo. The existing table appears to suggest that the letter variable to be used when tweaking the "Time Zone: short localized GMT" or "Time Zone: long localized GMT" is "0" as in "zero," but that didn't work for me. I tried playing around with it, and the letter variable that actually works is "O" as in the letter that comes after "N" and before "P." Quote
Hangman Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hi @JuBe, It is actually showing the letter 'O' but it uses a monospace font so looks deceptively like a zero... If you look at the Unicode for the letter used it's U004F (the letter 'O')... The list is taken from the ICU documentation where the font used is SFMono Regular. The 'O' there also looks a little like a zero but all the symbols use letters rather than numbers... https://unicode-org.github.io/icu/userguide/format_parse/datetime/ MikeTO 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
MikeTO Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 To avoid confusion, I added a note in my manual to note that it's a letter and not a number. Perhaps a note would be helpful on this page, too.
