  1. Thanks Walt, Everytime I assume somthing, I gain the benefit of a new lesson learned - the hard way.... Fortunately, I was using a test file, no production stuff. Debra, I tried the copy method you suggested and it worked! I hilghted and copied all layers using Edit-Copy, go to AP v2.1.1, Paste using File - New from Clipboard. - Thanks!
  2. I would expect file incompatibilities with interger versions, ie, v2 to v3. Not with intra-incremental version within the same integer. So be it. ~D
  3. I am assuming the bug reported above is for Affinity Publisher. I have a bug to report for Affinity Photo2 involving compatibility with the previous version. If I create an image with text in Affinity PHOTO v2.2.0.1881, I cannot open the same image in PHOTO v2.1.1. I would expect a file created in AP v2.2.0.1881 should be compatible with V2.1.1. 4. Windows 10: Affinity Photo v2.03: Focus Merge Routine: Clone Tool The white circle around the clone tool brush is missing most of the time. Seems random. It can occur when I have just opened the program and loaded a number of images for focus merging or whether I have been working in the routine for awhile. I don't remember ever seeing this problem in AP 1.10.5 By not being able to see the white circle around the clone brush, it is hard to tell if you are in source preview or edit mode. It is also hard to see where the brush is on the focus-merged image. The little eye toggle (toggle source preview) doesn't indicate which mode you are in either. Sometimes minimizing the AP2 onto the taskbar and then remaximizing it, restores the white circle outline.
  5. Suggestion: It would be helpful to provide a shortcut key for the little eye at the bottom of the Source Panel when using the Focus Merge routine. When working with the Focus Merge, I find I am having to click on the little eye many times. One reason is to see if I am in the editing mode or not as sometimes my Clone tool doesn't show the white outline around the brush! Also having the eye either change color when in editing or preview mode, or better yet, indicate with text. See image.
  6. SOLVED! A temp file was saved and evidently is causing the problem. In the Window's run dialog box, type in %AppData%\Affinity\Photo. Explorer opens up. Go to the temp folder, and delete the file in the temp folder. You'll still have to use the task manager to close it but the next time you open it, it should close without the popup message and having to use the task manager.
  7. I tried it several times, and unfortunately I still get the message and can only close by using Task Manager. Any other options perhaps?
  8. I just downloaded version 1.6.5.135 and everytime I try to close/exit the program, I get a popup "Quiting - At least one file is currently being opened. Please wit for files to load before quiting the application." But I am not waiting for any file to load. I have to Control-Alt-Delete and close it by the Task Manager. Never had this problem before the new download. Windows 8.1 64 bit, 32G Ram 1
