DBARTON Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Suggestion: It would be helpful to provide a shortcut key for the little eye at the bottom of the Source Panel when using the Focus Merge routine. When working with the Focus Merge, I find I am having to click on the little eye many times. One reason is to see if I am in the editing mode or not as sometimes my Clone tool doesn't show the white outline around the brush! Also having the eye either change color when in editing or preview mode, or better yet, indicate with text. See image. d3d_123 1 Quote
DBARTON Posted July 18, 2024 Author Posted July 18, 2024 Recently, I have used the Focus Merge routine almost everyday. It still would be very helpful to have: 1. A keyboard shortcut for toggling the eye icon at the bottom of the source window 2. An indicator of the mode I am currently using (ie, edit or preview) Having to mouse-down to the tiny eye icon each time I want to change my mode involves a lot of unnecessary hand-mouse movement to say the least. During a focus merge session, I may have to go back twenty or thirty times to 'remove artifacts' in the merged image. Having a keyboard toggle would be most helpful, as well as a simple mode indicator, as I've already mentioned above. Thanks Quote
DBARTON Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 My original post was over a year and half ago. I am surprised no one has responded. To resolve my request myself, I tried creating a Macro to toggle the source preview eye icon on the Sources tab/window. In short, clicking on the eye icon in the Source window (toggle source preview) doesn't work for a Macro - the toggle event is not recorded. Again, it would be extremely helpful to have a shortcut key that toggles the source preview icon on the Sources window. Quote
