Used a Canon 7D for a photo shoot and shot in raw but when I open the files in AP, they are all "masked" in black in almost the whole image. Meanwhile it will open fine in Camera Raw. Any clues?

Is there a convert path to selection option anywhere? A paths palette would be great.

The mesh tool is very good at what it does, stretch and pull in whatever direction you need, BUT it fails at the end when you apply the transformation. Take a look at the attached to see what I mean. The image gets cropped for no apparent reason. Please fix!

If there were a way for AD to remember the brush setting? Sometimes I create a special brush that is specifically needed for the task at hand-like when I need 50% opacity in multiply mode, and some other special feature, if I continue to work then I have no way of going back and using this same brush because it wasn’t saved. Maybe this is something that is already implemented in AD and PS. I am just not aware of it. Any feedback would be great.

How do I copy and rotate objects with the origin set from the center of another object? Example: petals of a flower copied and rotated with the origin centered on the "eye" of the center of the flower.

Would like to be able to select objects from the layers panel by clicking the layer some way. AI has this by clicking the circle and its really helpful.

Since AD doesn't support Pantone colors yet I had to convert them in Illustrator to CMYK, which it gave me decimal formulas for each CMYK color. When I open the file in AD, it rounds to the closest, but why allow the exact formula AI gives?

When I open an AI file that has symbols AD does show them, they are "hidden" but the art is there.

Are gradients in live text possible? I tried but couldn't see how.

Maybe a design agency can help design the right icons for the toolbar. But I guess they may end up looking too much like Illustrator's. Which I know is not what you want. So there's your conundrum.

Would love to see a warp text tool in AD. Would make a complete text tool package!

I wish you would reconsider your logic for how a layer looks in the layer panel once it has received a mask and also a layer adjustment. It makes little to no sense. Dont get me wrong I've seen your post on how you handle clipping masks by the placement of a layer above, below, next to another, very clever. But in the end when a designer wants to look at a file you want to be able to see where masks are, adjustments made, all based on this layer order, and lastly if the file is to be opened by a client or agency that only has PS, then they should be identical.

First let me just say that your product is great. BUT, it seems that you may not have had designer of big, if not huge scale in mind when you set up the effects panel. All the effects that have the radius adjustment only goes up to 100 points. And when you have letters and images larger that say, 24x36 inches all these effects are minute. Please consider reevaluating the radius to reach at least to PS levels which are at 250 pixels.

Is there not a way to increase text size by 1 point at a time? Both in AD and PHOTO.

Maybe one day we can edit a mask with levels and curves? Would like to also see the mask as in PS by alt clicking the mask icon. Need this, its a critical component in both AD and PHOTO.
