    Ok, embedding image worked. But still the image will be poor quality (like degraded jpg, blurry and many artifacts)

    Both from Photo/Designer, regardless of "copy as SVG" option stat. When I paste an image into Photoshop, they in the Smart Vector Object created become low resolution.

    There's similar bug on Chinese input as well. Population of Chinese/Japanese is not a fraction of world's population but large part. You can't just leave this problem.

    Off course it's Kotoeri - official Japanese input with default setting. You guys need to hire a Japanese tech support if you can't support.

    Wake up, Serif! Look at Publisher reviews on Mac App Store in Japan. People are furious about buggy, incomplete typography feature. Yet you're selling it as a "pro" app, seriously? Pro publishing app that can't handle text enough... It's a joke.

This is serious problem, many Japanese users are complaining about this and you have been ignoring this for long time. It's just that they don't post here because they don't speak English so they can complain only on their blog , social media and app store reviews. I complain this on behalf of them.

    Davinci Resolve which is fast growing video editing app has text direction option on the title effect which is non-Latin capable. (Refer attached picture) Though Davinci Resolve is still not the standard video editing app like Avid or Adobe in Hollywood, an Indian user says it's the standard in India(AKA Bollywoord) India has population of 1.3 billion which is almost equal to China, while USA has only 3 million. Also big video productions in Hollywood does not care about the cost, so many of them will probably keep using Avid/Adobe. But this will be changed once Davinci Resolve become world's standard. like Android OS. Don't you think the situation is the same as Serif and Adobe in graphics app industry?

    Yes, except Photo, the feature most needed in Affinity is typography especially for small businesses. People create shelf talkers, flyers, brochures, catalogs, food menus and such, mainly text. Without typography, what can they do? Nothing.

    I assume it's afphoto? If so you have to open and edit the original file in Photo but Publisher like Walt said.

    I would like to have Export Persona in Publisher as well.

    That is why Adobe is dominating the industries - supporting non-Latin languages perfectly. Not just because they are a giant. Ignoring non-Latin is huge mistake.

    @walt.farrell >If you have a linked raster/image file (TIFF, JPG, PNG, ...) the change you make in Publisher by choosing Edit Image will be saved back into the original file. oh ok. I tried only afphoto/afdesign.

    Agree, actually I'm planning to find an engineer who is specialist in Asian language processing to introduce to Serif. Otherwise Serif seems to have no idea how to handle Asian languages. Many of problems related to Asian language are being ignored by support in this forum probably because they can't handle.

    There is no Arabic UI, so I do understand why Affinity doesn't support RTL yet. But I don't understand why Affinity doesn't support Chinese/Japanese properly even though it has UI in those languages. How can Affinity claims itself as a "pro" design app without proper text handling? That's not pro. Without proper text handling, it's almost useless especially in publishing/printing industry.

    Flipped image bug hasn't been fixed.(It has been in a previous version already)

    Open original image in Photo directly, that's the only way to update images. Not possible in Publisher.

    Currently there's no way to edit linked documents in "Adobe style."

    Somehow images will be filliped(mirror image) It happens only when copying & pasting from Affinity to XD. But ok when: From Affinity to Photoshop. From MS Office to XD *It's not possibe to copying & pasting From Photoshop to XD.

    There are a lot of decent Web builder apps already. Serif should not waste time on such thing. They should make current Affinity Suite perfect first. Also refer this.
