Hi Hobyst, Welcome to the Affinity forum. All future updates to version 1 would be free, and future versions (2, 3, 4...) would require a new purchase. -
Hi Kris, If you purchased through the Mac App Store then you would not have an Affinity Store account, this would need to be created separately. Just choose the "New to Affinity" option, when given the option between that and signing in, and you shouldn't have any further issues.

Hi eWolf, Welcome to the Affinity forum. All of our desktops apps will share the same pricing model. We do not have any current plans for a complete suite bundle.

Hi Denis, welcome to the Affinity forum. As mentioned by Walt and Alfred, Serif do not have any record of Mac App Store purchases, and the Affinity Store is independent of any other forum account or Serif mailing list you may also be part of. To download a previous Apple order, open the Mac App Store and select 'Purchased' and it will be shown in the list (You will need to be logged into the Mac App Store using the same account that was used to purchase the app). If your order is not showing then we can only advise that you contact Apple directly here. -
Purchasing Affinity Photo

Hi Ken, welcome to the Affinity forums. If you are both using the same Apple ID, then you can each download the app from within your App Store account. If you are using separate Apple IDs, you would still only require one purchase, and the app can be installed using Apple's Family Sharing feature. -
Hi Lynne, welcome to the Affinity forum. This is certainly very unusual, especially if as you say, you are using the same Apple ID as that which was used to purchase it. Unfortunately we do not have access to any customer or purchase details that are made through the Mac App Store so we are unable to look in to this for you. Hi Sathya, welcome to the Affinity forum. Apple does offer a 14 day refund window if the user isn't satisfied with their purchase (except for gifts) in European countries. Go to this page and request a refund. Things aren't so clear in U.S. and Canada but they may still refund you in certain circumstances (these cases are handled on a case-by-case basis through Apple's official support channels). If you live there contact Apple Support directly and explain the situation. Since the Mac App Store is managed by Apple itself, there isn't much we can do in this situation.

As a company we were solely focused on Windows products since 1987, and the App Store has helped us make that transition to getting out apps to the Mac market. However we wouldn't rule out the Mac versions being available through our site at some stage in the future. -

Hi bastian and Saurbaum, welcome to the Affinity Forum! It is not possible to place an order on our website for both books in one order without paying two shipping charges. As one book alone is quite heavy (nearly 1.6kg with packaging) and because of this weight, we are charged by Amazon, who send our orders out. However, we can offer anyone who would like both books the chance to pay the full shipping cost for one and just half for the second. If this is something you would be interested in, please send an email to affinity@serif.com, as well as your full address and we can arrange it for you. -
Affinity Designer for iPad discount error?

Hi Delman, welcome to the Affinity Forum! We set the price in USD for sale within the USA, and from there the price shown in other countries and currencies is set by Apple based on a matrix they use for their App Store. We have no control over that matrix or any updates Apple may make to it in the future. Our Affinity Store matches these prices for Windows to make the sale price the same for both Mac and Windows users. This is a valid point, and I will mention this to the team behind the emails. -
