Just received the newsletter from Serif and found out the book is on discount again, but when I go to the book link, it always gives me an error page. Any ideas? I can access the AD Windows purchase page with no problem.

In this Affinity Designer tutorial, I will show you how I used Affinity Designer to create look and style of a client logo that will be used in a Motion Graphic animation. Next, I export the image I created in Affinity Designer and Import the images to be Animated in Apple Motion 5. Along the way, I give you insight into my creation and management process.

Continuing the Bunny series from some client concept sketches that never got beyond the proof phase.  
 
Thought I'd try something different on this one and play with some pixel painting texturing and also attempt at adding fur to this little guy. The fur is made up of repeating individual groups of "fur shapes" copying, rotating, skewing, repeat... each with transparent gradients and blur to add softness and hide some of the edges and yes it was a lot of work...  ;)
 
Really loving the ease of vector and pixel workflow! 

Just bought Affinity Designer and so far I am really impressed. Whipped up this logo to test it out.

Relaxed drawing of a classic topic. Wanted to get the outlines right so it took some time.
Used 2 different textured brushes for overlays and clouds. Half of them with a 50% Gaussian Blur.
Always thought that cat in the story is great - so it got a Martini ;)

New to digital designing/drawing so have a lot to learn, just thought id post one of my first designs which i created while trying to learn some of the tools. Just plan on using ID as a hobby and enjoying it so far. So much to learn!
