Hi,
it took me some time before i could come back to this issue.
Although I want to express my sincere gratitude to all who have tried to point me in the right direction, I have to say I'm still not understanding this very well.
Why is there such a big difference between the Blender viewer and the .exr file when opened in AP? 🤔

Hi Nathan!
Thank you very much for this answer!
I must admit I had not seen the video you mentioned. Unfortunately, despite James clarity, it didn't help me so much... I'm still confused...
I wonder why the png file looks like this:
ang the exr like this:

Hi,
As a blender and Affinity user, I would like to benefit from the Agx view transform and be able to tweak the image in Affinity Photo.
I'm currently exporting to .exr float.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to understand how to do it.
I tried the OCIO adjustment and i must admit I couldn't figure out what to choose in the Source and destination menu.
The 32bit Preview Panel is giving me even more options which I can't wrap my head around.
I would like to thank in advance anybody who will help me sort this mystery (I'm not targetting anyone in particular but hey! James Ritson, I really enjoy your tutorials!!! ).
Have a nice day!

The measurement tool is great: thank you for developing it!
A toggle button to save each measurement as a new layer would be awesome and I would definitely use it for quick measuring needs.
Even if each measurement doesn't stay linked to the shape/point/area. this CAD function would be great but perhaps its development would take away resources from more mainstream features...

No, Publisher will only export a single PDF containing all the pages you specify. You could, though, specify a selection of pages in the Export dialog, then Open the resulting PDF file in Designer (giving 1 Artboard per page) and finally use the Export Persona to create multiple PDF files.
Hi Walt,
Thanks for the suggestion. I must study the export persona a bit better.
I do have to convert my artboards to slice before export, right?
Thanks again for your help!
Have a nice day,

Hi!
I too would love to be able to export a chosen section of my document! 🤗
Is it possible now?🧐 -
I also want to thank everyone involved in the implementation of the Data Merge feature.
Although its integration seemed absolutely necessary for Publisher, there's no doubt it must have requested a lot of work.
Thank you so much: Affinity is a solid alternative to competition now!💪- polochon, vonBusing and Patrick Connor

Hi,
I must admit I haven't been very cautious...
I was so enthusiastic with the data merge feature I remade my company's invoice system with it....
Version 1.9.0.863 doesn't seem to like the € symbol that much (yet another Brexit collateral damage?:D): upon refreshing the table, all the excel fields containing it are now blank. -
I also observed that cell formatting from column C is not maintained.
-
Done! I erased the sensitive infos but the problem remains: only the first 105 rows are taken into account. Hope that helps!
-
Hopefully you can replicate this without my file which is quite sensitive for me...🤔
If not, I can still find a way to erase the sensitive infos prior to sending it... Just let me know if you need the file!
Thanks for your help and have a nice day! 😀 -
Hi,
I found the culprit: my first column was not always filled. Publisher stopped when it met an empty cell at row 105. It didn't stop at row 4 which was also emtpy though...
Thanks for your help! -
Hi,
Very excited by the data merge function!
While testing it (I'm a PC user) I realized the xslx document I linked is only read up until line 105 out of 180.
Is there anything I can try to solve this out?
Thanks for your help! -
Thanks a lot Dominik! 😃
-
like: aaaa" "mm" "jj
The space between the values is removed in Publisher. -
Is it the proper place to discuss this issue or is there a dedicated Beta version sub-forum?
I can see some custom cell format are not taken into account either. -
Thanks for the answer Polochon!
Still, it seems only the first 106 rows of my xlsx file are taken into account... I'm on PC... -
Hi,
This Data merge implementation is awesome news!
I'm unsure this is the right place to post about this (if not, please correct me! :).
I started playing with AP Beta and it seems to be working fine. It seems all the rows of my xlsx file are not recognized: is there a known limitation to the amount of read rows? Or does something needs to be done in the spreadsheet (formatting, file format...)?
Thanks for your help and have a nice day!

Hi,
I couldn't find it on the first search page so I wonder if there's an existing request for this feature.
I think it shouldn't be too high on the priority list but it sure is a nice workflow to be able to apply fill and/or stroke to a text frame.
Anyone supporting this?

Doh! The follow button... Indeed...
Thanks!

Is there a way to follow this thread (or any other thread) other than the "Notify me of replies" button from the new reply form?

I must say Publisher with no data merge function wouldn't make sense for me. -
Hi,
I must first thank you for the incredible amount of work and dedication you put in developing this series of products: I'm very excited at the alternative you're offering to industry standard mammoths.
I wonder if there's a text import/linking feature available or in the makings for Publisher? Something similar to the data merge option that can be found in (sorry to mention it...) industry standards mammoths? :D

Hi Henry,
Thank you for your help!
Well what confuses me is the png image I save after the render looks fine when opened in AP...
I will try to search Blenderartists, absolutely. You're right!
Thanks again for your help!
