  1. In InDesign it came with CS6 – the last buyable version. And indeed it is an important feature especially in combination with SmartStyles which allows to format items with multicolumn-headlines, sublines and bodytext on the fly with a single click. Especially working on newspaper-style projects this gives an enormously faster working. Unfortunately I have do do some weekly jobs in a CS5.5-surrounding – and its annoying every time on that settings to seperate headings and bodies in different frames to get the formatted results. So I too would appreciate that affinity would add the multicolumns-feature within a frame as soon as possible... ur
  2. Hello. So the final now has been released, the most important next step must be to get Indesign-CS6-files imported. Or even CS6-IDML-files, which couldn't be too complicated. Without IDML-import Affinity-Pub may be a nice tool but useless for professionals who are desperately looking for an abo-alternative to Adobe since the next MacOS-Version will kick-of CS6 as 32-bit-apps will be no longer supported on that Macs. So please, please get this IDML-import first in the to-do-list! Non-perfect-import would do it – format-settings and other finetuning-configurations could be done afterwards. Greetings - uro
  3. Hallo. So weit, so gut.
  4. Hello. May I continue in this theme? I got the same problem that bleeds are not saved to PDF, working with artboards. In the document there is generally defined a 2mm-bleed, and in some artboards the bleed is correctly saved to PDF while other artboards don't save any bleed. Is this a bug or has bleed to be activated somewhere in artboard-settings? The actual document concerning this "feature" contains 7 artboards. I use artboards very often to have variations of a design in a very practical manner, but save to PDF without bleed is really bad. Unfortunately in artboards the bleed is not shown up – and the clip-to-canvas-option is grayed out. (showing bleed in artboards would be great in a next version...). Uwe
  5. Hello. It would be great if A-Ph on "save-to" or "export" would use the same folder within the original opened file. Could this be configured in the actual version? If not, it would be my feature-request... Greetings - Uwe
