  1. A tip if I may. If you are going to do a tutorial video, better to do it in real time or a combination of real time + timelapse with commentary. It does not have to be voice (even though that is a lot better), you can make a puppet or mannequin at the bottom right that speaks of what to do at certain parts. Since there is only so much a beginner can learn from time-lapse videos.
  2. Thanks for your kind words MBd. Hopefully the video can give peoples some insights of what they can do in their own stuff. Not sure really haha. Never taught anything before.
  3. Greetings, I made a tutorial today on how I go about doing my Lets Make Shapes series which you can find here https://youtu.be/cotcX9hBsDk (Video no longer available) Since this is my first tutorial, so some things may be unclear. Feel free to ask my questions if you have. Will try to help as best as I can.
  4. - This marks the end of Spacetronauts project. You can find the full project at https://www.behance.net/gallery/50603541/SPACETRONAUTS-SPACE-POSTER-COLLECTION
  5. Possibly next week or the other next week, I will be starting another project for logo design. As I continue doing what I am doing, I am finding a lot more interest into going back to logo design, since I can utilize that in other possible crafts such as concept art, illustration, personal logo or even create a logo for another person. But I will commence with it as soon as I am done with Spacetronauts probably 2 or 3 days after. The project its basically going to be either 2 hour constraint or 1 hour constraint. I am not looking for perfection, but quantifiable work where I can learn something new each day. Maybe that is the arc of a letter or how to make "W" lettering into a logo and so on. So yeah. Probably next week. Finishing with Spacetronauts around this Friday, and I also have like an appointment Wednesday for sign design and stuff, and if all goes well will start working. Which I will have to adjust my time.
  6. Something a bit different then the usual. - Used the pacifico font, and customized it a bit.
  7. I am not fund of titles, so I shall let the viewers decide what they want to title the exploration as. Since what they are, is merely abstract exploration. But the project is called "Lets Make Shapes", if that serves the purpose of a title.
  8. Yeah he knows how to utilize the software, and make his own tools. Will have to check that out. The thing that is making me hesistant so far is that : 1. I can customize almost all the shortcuts and even brush shortcuts in Paintstorm 2. Rotation is intuitive in both of the software I mentioned 3. Decrease/increase brushes feels less clunky in either of the two softwares 4. Color picking feels more natural I don't know man, after using these 2 softwares the painting mechanics just feels right. The plus side for AD is that you can switch between raster/vector easily and also the gradient mechanics and layering system. - @Frankentoon When doing these illustrations, do you do them in CMYK or RGB color format for printing purposes? I have been trying out Redbubble, and they mention they print only CMYK, but suggest to upload as sRGB JPG on their site, and mention to use like color calibration (CMYK) to see how close your color is. So in scenario like this, do you feel its best to just design straight with CMYK, or am I losing some of the rich colors by sticking to CMYK and later save it to sRGB for the web?
  9. You're making me reconsider to get proficient using affinity tool for painting. Currently I use Krita for Drawing and Paintstorm for painting purposes, and waiting for Affinity software to become a little bit better with the painting mechanics, but damn man. This looks dope.
