Hi That is a good question.... I would like to be!😀 I attempted to do the drawings much quicker this year!. but still behind. How long the drawings take in this thread is a bit distorted. As it is a time challenge in essence! I used a few different techniques to increase the speed: 1. New set of simplified brushes 2. Sketching rather than full drawings 3. Conversion of raster | painted objects to vector without considering the number of nodes (Need this for flats and bases+to paint in as Background) 4. Generated some vector textures 5. Painted and converted vector textures 6. Set Stroke and Fill to back So can use Hot keys to quickly fill areas 7. Use the Style Picker with loaded colours and Use the Vector Asset Swatch Idea (You can see this in the border area of soem of the drawings!) 8. Vector elements used to resolve scaling and orientation of objects 9. Use the Knife tool 10. Use warp tools to distort 11. resolve the layout | idea with sketch before inking 12. Ink Small Vector large! (i.e Rescale) These drawings have taken 1-2 days depending on details and size Normally drawings can take much longer...Something like 'Poison' | Poison II | The Wall etc. can take weeks but they are large and more detailed Vector work usually takes much longer that raster painting (But the method outlined above is much faster) Some drawings are 'created >01 times before inking..

haven't checked that but wiil...No DD Click just selects the image box with options as in Video... I was just wondering whether it is by design or a bug relating to the New spread feature.. The Parial options display seems to be centering on the spread and not the page The Display Shifts to the right If you select the second image | page using the same method.

Hi I have attempted to overload the layout with a combination of different spreads | mock layouts and file placements (Vector + linked complex AD files)..Just wow. I was expecting it to break but failed!...I had 1 crash when trying to access file Menu after Spread 5 Before I start on reflow | reorder etc I did try and just select the elements separately on the 'Monster II' Spread (6 page spread 500x500mm Square Each with single placed Ad file)... Question 1. Using Spread 05 (6 page) When I select the element (linked image) 'normally' using Move tool each page displays the Scale | Rotate | Move options. But If I marque around say page 1 object | spread 05. The page element gets selected but only the scale box gets displayed and is offset in the centre of the spread...is this by design? layout as below with some very large linked files!

It is ok in the guides. and oddly if you go to Document Setup and edit from this route it works fine. but if edit the spread>margins from the Pages panel it crashes!

Hi I can see why there has been an extended period of Beta updates. Thank you for adding this intensive and impressive feature/s. As @MikeTO stated this is a lot of work and a valuable update...Yet again many thanks for your hard work...but will do my best to break it!😀 From a quick overview ..I have had 2 crashes so far 1. Repositioning a page in a spread (have not been able to reproduce this yet) 2. Edit Margin Colour I came across a crash while attempting to edit the margin colour on a new Master page (Spread/single page). I thought initially it was a product of the messy file while testing (which is attached below)..There is not much to it just a collection of different spreads. In Masters >[single page] 'marginColour' then Spread Properties>Margins. Try changing the colour and apply | close.. Publisher folds! I tried to recreate with a new file and single A3 page..It can be reproduced. masters and spreads 01.zip

Zombie Toolkit II As it is getting Close to Halloween.....addded a new Zombie Toolkit based on a single character! 1. These vectors are a bit heavy on the nodes as they are conversions fron Inktober 2024 sketches from a single Word Prompt 'Guidebook' 2. A Single Affinity Designer File with 13 artboards containing a selection of vector objects. 3. Some are composites with an outline and Base flat (so can be painted separately or used as solids!) 4. Also included 4 texture files that can be dismembered for adding overlay or masked textures 5. You can build you own variations Affinity Designer File Zombie Toolkit II.zip

Thank you! The Flintstones cars should be brought back to mitigate climate change!...Would take a bit longer to get anywhere but much faster than UK trains! Originally I was going to re-work the image was not sure it fitted the prompt....Pleased I left it in!

It was supposed to be simple but got a bit carried away!😀.. I like the idea of vectoring the painted textures...much mre control over the results!

Thanks.😀 I use these and others! a lot..Much easier to drag out the asset onto the page and load the style into the Style Picker rather than keep sliding over to the Palette and try and find the colour you just used!
