ruedi reacted to Dan C in [Designer] Change default unit
Hi FrankOverIP
The default unit shown on tools is that of the document, meaning if you create a new document you can set the document units to other measurements such as millimetres, inches etc and this will become the default unit for tools for that document.

Hi amazme1,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Lightroom is not a photo editor but a RAW developer. It's editing tools are not up to what Photoshop offers. Affinity Photo is both a RAW developer and photo editor.
We already announced plans for an Affinity DAM software which will work seamlessly with Affinity Photo.

Hi,
We do have this feature! It's called "Deform" (Filters -> Distort -> Deform).
I think we need to add support for selecting multiple pins at once though - I'll try to get that done for the next beta!
Thanks,
Andy.

Will or does Affinity have a feature like the Photoshop Puppet Warp. If this is already possible in Affinity, can someone kindly explain where I can find it?
Thanks,
Paparooster

+1 for black and white as defaults with a shortcut. It's just way too handy to ignore. Or even better, let the user specify his/her choice for default colors. That way, it could be tailored for individual projects.

Thanks, I'm accustomed to using the X-swap and found that right away. Do give some thought to including a 1-click restore of the foreground/background colors to B/W since it would save a bit of tedium and time.

For those who might come across this post & are looking for a method ....
In AF Photo (tested in ver. 1.4) Go to Preferences >> Keyboard shortcuts > Photo > Miscellaneous > Set fill to Black & White > & press D key to set or whatever you prefer. If you see the conflict triangle, hover over it to see what it is (not the section, sub section it's in though unfortunately). You could set fill to 50% grey as Shift 5 while you're there?
Hope to see keyboard command slots available for fill with foreground / background coming up?
cheers :)
