Is there a 1-click way to restore the foreground and background colors to B/W like in Photoshop? If not, it would be really nice if this were added.

I've figure out a works around but it's 3-step and doesn't work reliably. Shift+click on the most extended slider and move all the sliders to 0 or 255. Shift background color to forground, repeat.

There is room on the color panel to add a button to do this just to the right of the color picker and the color space dropdown. Please do this.

Welcome to the forums saazhopper :)

There's no default colour shortcut at the moment. You could use the X shortcut to easily flip between the Stoke and Fill colours and manually change the colour from the Colour or Swatch panels.

+1 for black and white as defaults with a shortcut.  It's just way too handy to ignore.  Or even better, let the user specify his/her choice for default colors.  That way, it could be tailored for individual projects.

For those who might come across this post & are looking for a method ....

In AF Photo (tested in ver. 1.4) Go to Preferences >> Keyboard shortcuts  > Photo > Miscellaneous > Set fill to Black & White > & press D key to set or whatever you prefer. If you see the conflict triangle, hover over it to see what it is (not the section, sub section it's in though unfortunately). You could set fill to 50% grey as Shift 5 while you're there?

Hope to see keyboard command slots available for fill with foreground / background coming up?

cheers  :)
