Thanks for your offer to help, I've tried to reproduce it and I think I see what is happening. I've about 14 photos making up the pano, I shot it twice, so about 28 photos. (My files are Nikon raw from a D90, I don't have great upload speeds so won't try posting them) When I make each pano out of each batch of 14 they are okay, but when I use all 28 this halo appears. I guess the renderer is trying to do some kind of HDR on the area, anyhow problem adverted just by using one set of images. Thanks anyhow.

I'm not sure if this is really a bug or feedback. It's been years since I used AP for making a pano, the results were not great then and I used APG instead. From this recent use AP is doing a much better job, and I will use it first from now on. I just wanted to show where one aspect where stitching/exposure values could be looked at for improvement. In the photo here you can see the pano creation made a halo around the top of the cliff/hills that was not there in the original photo. Thanks

On 1.8 and continuing on 1.81 if I open a multipage PDF by dragging it from a finder window onto the main editing screen the popup PDF import window is not visible. By looking at the list in the dock icon, the pop up is open (and greyed out) but it is not anywhere visible on any screen. It is not hidden just off screen etc, it simply appears not to be drawn on the screen. If force quit the app, because all clickable buttons will not work without first confirming the popup, and I drag the same PDF onto the pages panel to open it, the pop up * usually appears and all works as expected. I often do quick edits of many images using the effects panel. Each time I go to the panel on a new image it has reset it's self, so I need to go through a repeated series of steps to get the same parameters each time. It would be great if each panel or even each dialogue box for each effect, had a check button to "open in the last state" or default. I guess this could be applied to adjustments etc too and maybe make editing more efficient for many. Thanks

Hi, I've been trying out a few different panoramic tools from different companies, including the Serif PanoramicPlus. There is a huge difference between the Panorama mode in Affinity vs the standalone Serif PanoramicPlus, in that the Affinity panoramic mode is very basic compared to Serif PanoramicPlus. - It seems that each runs on very different scripts, with very different outputs. On the mac using Affinity an 18 set of shots, comes out with poor results, lots of missing areas and images offset way out of the main body of the panorama, misaligned rendered areas an more. Colour blending is ok. On windows the Serif PanoramicPlus gets it right each time. Could consideration be made to improve the Affinity panoramic feature to bring it up to the same performance as the Serif PanoramicPlus app? There are also some basic basic panoramic features which would be great to have, one would be, the ability to shift/scroll the centre of the panorama left or right. There are many other ideas which you could take inspiration from by looking at the http://www.kolor.com/autopano/app. Thanks.

When working very zoomed in on an image, in order to adjust the, top, bottom, left or right borders its necessary to go to the mid section of each axis to find the central handle to drag in the appropriate direction, this can be a long way away if the image is large and you are zoomed in and only need to tweak the zoomed in edge. Instead to only have handles at each mid point, could they placed more frequently, say every 1/8 or even 1/4 along each respective border? Thanks

BTW I have the AP from the app store, I don't see a link to the beta on your site, if I wanted how do I download, will it run like a double instance, or overwrite the existing, can I just rename it to AP beta and run it or will it mess libraries up? Bump.... I have the same problem, 20 multiple gig images in layers in one document, in need to apply crops to all, can this be done? Thanks
