As i said in a other thread, i try to use V2 as long as i can, then heading back to adobe, sadly. i tried open source but i can't use the software very well. i need user friendly experiences, gimp as example is not. krita is a nice painting software but not very good for photo editing. the variant with photoshop and lightroom seems reasonable for a sub based model. So... when it's time to switch i'll switch back.

No offense too. I guess you are right but if they firsthand say "we are never acquise" and then go to the one who is not very famous for to let their bought products alive is not a smart move. I think this is the main reason, why everyone is unison upseted. Never say never (and post this online). It is normal that a company is expanding or gets somewhere selled out. But i'm sure there are better options than Canva.

Yepp. Same to HitFilm Pro. Now using Davinci; hoping we don't have to switch to gimp. And i hope if they switch fully to subs, community will refuse and riot and leave the boat. i will stick to V2 as long as i can and i hope there is something planned to exclude AI functions. Don't get me wrong. i like autofill and background remove as example, but that whole ai thing has to be ethical so no artist is getting hurt.
