  1. Thanks a ton. 🙂 Yes, this thread did get a little clotted, but glad to see that the staff are taking the matter seriously.
  2. I already boosted the performance and the next time I exported, I did not get the warning. As for crashing, I am not sure it would happen, but my Mac has only 8 Gb RAM, and I can feel how it's having problems when I work with sizable files. I see no reason to embed the images. Linking works fine, and I always export for PDF when the printing house needs my book. Essentially that means that my document stays with me.
  3. Thanks. 🙂 My fonts were born with my Mac. I'll try the safe mode once my project is shipped off.
  4. Yes, I agree. Maybe I should delete the Palatino from my fontbook and then reinstall it (know a good and safe link for that?).
  5. Oh, you were right. 🙂 My Publisher doesn't know the Rethink font, but the other two were clear enough.
  6. Yes, you're right - one day. At the moment, I just need to get this comic book ready for publication. 🙂 And then I'll dive into the issue again.
  7. True - but in my case, my specific print is all I need. 😄 Either way, it looks like my issue is a local one. Maybe the most time saving thing I can do now is simply avoid the outline setting altogether.
  8. Unless my screen display is the problem - then a print test would definitely shed some light.
  9. Yes, I agree. I have a printer and use it about twice a year.
  10. Thanks. Yes, checked the mulptiple font thing already, but just reset Aff fonts - yet the issue persists. I wonder, by the way, if the issue is also visible in an actual print. I'll try printing the page in question later.
