I think the transform origin in Affinity Photo 2.5 beta and its previous version does not work at all. I try flipping, rotating by and changing the transform origin, enable the it back and forth, yet nothing work at all. It always work from the middle. In the case of coloring the hair here. If it were in a single layer, then we can just simply use the Vector Flood Fill tool to fill in the color because they are close shape on one layer. But then in this file, I can't achieve that because even a small line needs to be in its own separated layers. The character was drawn in Moho Animation, but I wanted to test if it is the same when drawing in Affinity Designer 2. In Moho, the hair is made of three shape, the top, and two on the side. the three shapes are connected together so that we can use fill tool easily. However, in affinity, I can't use the Vector Flood Fill tool to fill in fill color because only one shape is on the main hair layer, and the other two layers are only one line.

Thank you very much. I will see more tutorials. I think most of vector programs use a single layer to draw shapes without the need of creating additional layers if not needed because vector has points to be adjusted unlike raster layers which are needed to add different layers to be adjusted individually. ❤️

I want to import the SVG to Moho Animation software so that some shapes should be on the same layer so that it is easy to be animated such as eyes and pupils should be on the same layer so that we can use Liquid Shape to control the eye better than put the eyes and pupil in different layers.

I am sorry for the confusion, it should be export. I confuse with Save as and Export. I will edit the question. I work mostly with PSD since I need PSD file for Moho animation software. I have PSD models. I need to copy the models to another folder all the time to keep the original PSD model the same, and edit only the duplicated one. I want to just open a PSD model and then export it (just like save as another PSD file) and it close the original file and reopen the exported file. Is there any way or setting, I can do that?

Hi everyone, While working with PSD file, we sometimes want to export the file as a duplicated one, so that we can keep the original file and work with a new "exported" file. However, when we "export" the file, Affinity photo does not open the new file that we have "exported", it keeps the original file open. Is there anyway to set affinity photo to automatically open a new file that we have "exported" PSD file after the file have been exported? Thank you❤️

What I was trying to do was to try to export files from Affinity that can be imported to Moho using the script in Moho. However, most of the time I work with image layers, so I use affinity photo. In this tutorial, he uses Affinity Designer. ❤️

Hi, I want to export multiples layers into png. I watch tutorial about how to slice and exports layers. However, my results does not show the same as the tutorial. Only one or two layers can be exported with the "png" extension, the other does not have the extension. Is there any setting I have to set to be able to export the sliced layers correctly? Here is the file after exported. Only two are correct. The other has not extension. I use Affinity 2.4 beta version.
