Yes, I spotted that and corrected to 100%, no difference to vertical alignment. No special character in front of "Mucky". Thanks

Yes, same file and same settings but the text is in a different position on different PCs. When I say "they are both set the same" I was referring to the VA on the two PCs both being set to top.

Yes, it does look like vertical alignment, but they are both set the same - attached the one that looks central showing top alignment. Both computers are running latest version of Windows 11. Thanks.

Yes, same version installed from same file. I'll look at how to clear the font cache, not done that before. Thanks.

Hi @NathanC two screengrabs attached and the file in question, although the difference is visible on all files. Font is Huntress, installed on both. You'll see that the text sits higher in the text box on the laptop compared to the pc. Thanks for your help. advert-images-a.afpub

Jon Davies started following ICC Profiles and Text Positioning Differs Between Two PCs
-
Hi, I'm using Publisher 2 on two computers and I'm finding on some documents when I create on one PC then open later on the other that the text has moved vertically within the text box. I've checked baseline positioning in the character panel on both PCs and both are set to 0 - although I can correct for the issue by changing this value. Is there anything else that could be causing this? Thanks.

Thanks everybody, that's all useful and much appreciated. I'll take it up with Prodigi again. -

ICC Profiles
Jon Davies replied to Jon Davies's topic in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Thanks Walt, yes they are - Downloads | Prodigi - you'll find them near the bottom of this page in a drop-down box. The two in question are "Enhanced Matt Art paper" and "Standard Canvas". -
I have imported and installed two ICC profiles from a print company - one is for paper, the other for canvas. The print company requires files in RGB. The paper profile shows up in my list of RGB profiles but the canvas profile is in my CMYK list. The print company say they've never seen this before. Looking for advice on how to fix please. Windows 11. Thanks.
