  1. I came across in both AD and AP beta's the eyedropper tool is sampling the incorrect colour, it seems to have sneaked back into the beta's :( It's only a very slight shift this time around. Sample one objects colour and then apply it to another object, switch Wheel to Sliders in the Colour panel and select RGB Hex from the dropdown. Select each object individually and notice the Hex # and RGB sliders change in value. In AD beta - 1.1.2.22824 and AP beta - 1.1.2.22821.
  2. I was wondering why when the document units are set in something other than pixels, such as inches, setting the View at 100% is different than View at Pixel Size? For example, when selecting the Page Preset > Letter, if you set the view at 100% it zooms the document in further than setting the view at Pixel Size. Shouldn't the View > 100% behaviour be consistent across all document unit types? Thanks
  3. In the past few Beta's I've noticed when you convert an object to curves the Convert to Curves button in the Context Toolbar stays visible. I'm not sure if this was a design decision or not but shouldn't it be removed after an object has been converted to curves? As it is now, pressing it again essentially does nothing, correct?
  4. @MEB I've also noticed after nudging an object with the arrow keys, if you try to rotate/scale/skew the object it will jump back to its original position. In order for it to work correctly I have to nudge the object, press ESC to drop the object from selection, then reselect the object and perform a rotation/scale/skew operation.
  5. I've come across a possible bug when Gaussian Blur 'Preserve Alpha' is enabled, it seems to pixelate the colours when enabled. The Preserve Alpha option is a welcome addition to the Gaussian Blur Effect! Thanks Affinity team!
  6. Not a problem MattP. Easy enough to work around for the time being.
  7. That does it, switching from Colour to Brushes or from another panel causes the Brushes panel header bug. I captured a screen recording of Brushes panel bug. Seems to be a few of the panel headers are a little buggy with the latest beta. Brushes Panel Bug.mov
  8. In the latest beta 1.0.21212 the eyedropper tool either samples or applies the incorrect colour. It seems to apply a slightly darker colour to an object.
  9. Yep, I can also confirm this same Navigator panel bug. I've also had it happen to the Brushes panel, but only encountered it once.
  10. Excellent improvements, thank you. I've experienced a few panel bugs to Swatches, Brushes, History and Navigator. Panel tabs disappear when selected for Brushes, History and Navigator. Also, the eyedropper tool doesn't apply the correct sampled colour, seems to apply a slightly darker colour.
  11. Yes I agree that would be a great workflow addition, one I really miss from Photoshop as well.
  12. @Zoyt +1 I would also love to see more settings/options for blurs as well, adding Background Blur would be a great addition. @grzessnik In some situations the Gaussian Blur layer effect doesn't provide the desired results. I created a feature request post about such a situation here.
  13. Hi, I would like to voice a feature request to the gaussian blur layer effect. In its current state when applying the gaussian blur to an object/layer, the edges of the object/layer are also blurred/feathered, which is great and expected! :) However, in some situations that’s not the desired effect. It would be great if there was a ‘clamp edges’ or ‘clamp transparency’ toggle in the gaussian blur settings that would preserve the layers edges when increasing the blur radius. This addition to the Gaussian blur effect would be beneficial for iOS design specifically but would also come in handy in other areas as well. I’ve attached two images for reference. I applied a gaussian blur effect in both Affinity and Illustrator. As you can see in the second image, Illustrator blurs the layer while preserving the edges. Thanks Cam
  14. Hi MEB, Thanks for the reply. I remember seeing a similar thread to the one you posted a few days ago and your response makes sense. However, in regards to a single object with a fill and a stroke, I noticed in Illustrator setting a strokes alignment to outer doesn't leave a slight gap. Perhaps Illustrator is doing something behind the scenes to make that happen? As CartoonMike kindly pointed out, a workaround would be centre align the stroke and double it's size. Yay, that'll work! :) Thanks CartoonMike for your examples and for the clever workaround.
  15. Hi, When setting a strokes alignment to outside, a slight gap appears between the shapes fill and stroke. I'm using the latest beta build.
  16. Hello, The beta window tab labels have appeared blurry for me, however, the app store release does not. I have a screen shot for comparison. Top half is the app store release, bottom half is the beta. Thanks :)
