  1. When working with others we use .PSD because its so universal, not .afphoto however being able to set .PSD as the main file format for a project instead of having to re-export files would be appreciated. I don't know if thats possible or not with the way .PSD operate but I hope so, it would save a lot of file saves.
  2. I know Affinity has been working on a DAM for a while, personally, I don't see myself using it. I can use a shared NAS in Finder or file explorer just as easily. I'd rather see them tackle After Effects or Motion with a 2D animation program that can natively operate with their file system. Right now a workaround I do is SVG to Pixelmator Pro to Apple Motion. However, its still not as nice as just importing a project to After Effects. Another program is Cavarly however its more node based.
  3. Glad I found this thread, I thought I was going crazy. I can’t believe Affinity can’t fix this though, no other app has this problem. The weird thing is if I force quit the app while it’s starting and then open it again it opens right up. However if I download the app from Serif and not the app store, the problem seems to be fixed.
  4. 1. Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher 2. Latest release 3. When opening Affinity for the first time of the day it takes a really long time to open. I have to force quit and open it again. This has been happening from Affinity 1.0 to 2.0, I have been having this bug for a really long time. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but still have the same issues. Currently running on MacBook Pro M3 Max, however this happens on my last MacBook as well.
  5. Woke up to the same issue, Photo and Publisher now will not open at all and just give me this error
  6. The Designer art board is set to 300, I have tried 72 and it makes no difference. It is randomly blurry no matter what. The original image is 3264 × 2448
