I think close all files without exit the app is better than exit to close all. E.g: Add an menu item to File > Close All Files

When user assigns the color to group layer, the group layer icon could be better if the color also was added to the "folder" icon as well. This could help user works faster.

Oops. I didn't notice that it has "Move outside" item into the menu "Arrange". I'm going to assign it a hot key. Thanks man!

It would be great if we can Ctrl/Cmd + [ or ] to arrange/move the layer/group out of the group that maintain it when it's on top/bottom of the main group.

I just tested the latest build with my complexity design and the performance is much more smoothly than latest official release build. Can't wait to get this new AD.

I have 2 suggestions for working with artboards: 1. Auto arrange artboards (or Layout/Re-arrange artboards into grid): - It should be cool if we could setup layout grid for the artboards (E.g: input number for Row and Column; Row = 3, Column = 4, Start Artboard: "Artboard name or number" then we have a perfect grid view for our artboards. - And yes, if we could add this setting on "New Document", this would be awesome! 2. Auto change name when duplicate artboard(s): - AD copies the name of the original artboard(s) whenever I duplicate an artboard or multiple artboards. I truly hope AD could auto change the name of the duplicated artboards to "OriginalName_Copy01", "OriginalName_Copy02" or something like that.

Yes, same happen for me, desktop PC user, amd ryzen 7 2700x, gtx1660ti, 32GB Ram, not a slow computer I guess. But I got very laggy Affinty after upgraded to 1.9 and latest version. Search through google and find out a similar solution: Uninstall all affinity apps, go to Users\***\AppData\Roaming, delete folder Affinity then reinstall again. It works. Hope Serif would fix this issue soon. We don't wanna do too much steps like this to get smoothy performance whenever upgrading version.

Yeah, but the funny thing is it's a never ending loop: UX based on user experiences. So we are users.

After using Affinity Designer for about 6 months, one of the most issues I really hope Serif would update in the future is auto rename the artboard/layer based on original artboard/layer name likes "Artboard 1 copy 1", "Artboard 1 copy 2",... Affinity Photo also need this feature for sure.

It would change frequency of recently filters. I don't think it's better but maybe you meant "sort by most used" I guess.

I think this menu should be sorted by alphabet (A -> Z). It would help user find the item into the menu much more easier.
