  1. I haven't created a new document with the later version, just opening projects created in 1.8.1 So not able to clarify if its an import problem. Not to mention that 1.8.1 sometime crashes when you tr to convert an image into a swatch pallet. I think I have mentioned this before also. At this time most of my projects have been pre-created with an earlier version 1.8.1 I will perhaps try and create a 1.8.4 Project once the requirement of a new project comes up, Would only be a little concerned as Im aware that perhaps I may have a problem opening with an earlier version if I have the spinning wheel of never never gonna work..... I see windows got an update 1.8.5 Dose this address the spinning wheel of never never ??
  2. I have also experienced the spinning wheel of "hang on your gonna have to wait a minute" for quite a few operations, and indeed is random. I have to say after using it for an evening of editing some artwork images, all vector no pixel layers. I got feed up and opened the same file in a back up of the previous release of designer. I had no problems or spinning wheels and didn't have time to notice any of the new features in the up-date. So not missing any of them as of yet. Perhaps when there is a future up-date I will see if I experience the same lag and spinning wheel of death.... Just my experience sp far with the new 1.8.4 release, other than that I love the software.! Cheers dopeNL. macOS Mojave (by the way,)
  3. I have no idea what file format your referencing other than its obvious its bit supported at this time. However for me, the software again far sup pases Adobe CC (Continuous Cash) Subs. Who also have many many years of development and cash flow! It sounds like users who might have the desire to use such file formats could also search or use a file converter or another software. I personally think the Affinity team are great, and keep up the good work!
  4. See this is why Affinity products sup-pas all Adobe products and services! I love you guys!
